Join Sonder Impact, Sip & Sonder, and Dr. Byron Young as they present Dr. Young’s “The Cypher Sessions,” where the minds and ideas of the community synergistically come together to uplift and empower one another.

In honor of Juneteenth, in this third installment of The Cypher Sessions with Sonder Impact titled “Let’s Talk About Black Joy!,” we will be focusing on the ins and outs of our joy and happiness as Black people living in the U.S. Together we will discuss how we experience and practice joy, Black joy as an act of resistance, and how this joy can be nourished so we thrive as individuals and community members.

All you will need to bring are your minds, mobile phones, love of music, and willingness to share your ideas and perspectives with the community!

The Cypher Sessions is a fun, community-based education program where we deconstruct Black music to ignite discussion amongst participants around social justice and emotional-health topics that affect them.
