Welcome!
Sifting through all types of information for November’s General Election can be a LOT. So we’ve compiled key information all in one place, so you can be informed, exercise your vote with confidence, and take care of yourself along the entire process.
Take Care of YOU.
First things first—are you taking care of yourself?
This election season has been particularly traumatic for Black communities and others who face systemic injustices. The constant barrage of divisive rhetoric, policy debates, and discriminatory undertones can take a toll on mental and emotional well-being, in ways seen and unseen. While civic engagement is critical to shaping our futures, it's equally important to take care of ourselves in the process. That's why we're including a few meditation and mindfulness resources on this page—to help you find moments of peace and grounding amid the chaos. Remember, your voice matters, and so does your well-being.

Understanding Your Ballot.
So many different races and choices. The Presidential race is not the only one that matters. Our local election races directly impact our everyday lives, from schools and public safety to housing and healthcare. These leaders shape policies that affect our communities immediately, making your vote in local races just as crucial—if not more—than in presidential elections.
Check out the below resources that can help you figure out who and what is on your ballot and how to fill it out.

Make Your Selections Now!
Want to be informed and make your choices BEFORE pulling up to a Vote Center?
Your LA County Interactive Sample Ballot does just this, making it easy for you to cast your vote in-person during elections. Here’s how it works:
The Interactive Sample Ballot is a digital version of your sample ballot booklet that will allow you to access, review, and make your selections before going to a Vote Center.
It will include (if relevant): Local Measures, City Council seats, Board of Supervisors, Community College District Board of Trustees, School Board candidates, Local Judges, District Attorney.
Once you fill in the Interactive Sample Ballot on your phone, computer, or personal device, it will generate a Poll Pass, which is a QR code containing all of your selections.
You can transfer your selections from your Poll Pass to a Ballot Marking Device at any Vote Center.
